Why we organize this annual Golf Tournament
The ALCE Foundation Golf Tournament is now in its 27 th year. This annual event brings
our community together to raise funds for the Algonquin & Lakeshore Catholic
Education Foundation.
The Foundation’s primary purpose is to support families within our school communities
who require immediate financial assistance during difficult times, addressing urgent and
unexpected needs such as food, clothing, medical supplies, shelter, and other
essentials.
Since 2007, the Foundation has provided more than $650,000 in financial aid, helping
over 2,000 students and their families across the Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic
District School Board. Each year, this support continues to make a meaningful
difference for families when they need it most.
Golf Tournament Details
Date: Thursday, August 13, 2026
Time: 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. - Registration, lunch and speeches
1:00 p.m. - Shotgun start
Ticket and sponsorship payments
We are using a new event page this year. When purchasing golf tickets (available
Friday, May 1 to Thursday, July 30) or sponsorships, you may notice the base price
appears lower than advertised. This is because tax is built into the price in the new
system.
The final total amounts are:
• Golf ticket: $150
As a registered charity, the ALCE Foundation does not remit tax to the CRA. As a result,
tax will not appear on your final receipt.
Registration and Ticket Options:
Golf Ticket: $150 per golfer
Foursome (Team Registration): $600
If registering as a foursome, please include the names of all four golfers.
Each golfer will enjoy 18 holes of golf with a shared power cart (two golfers per cart),
lunch, and entry into on-course contests, including the $10,000 hole-in-one challenge,
the putting contest, longest drive, and more.
Lunch only
This option is perfect for those who would like to enjoy the morning and early afternoon
at the golf course without participating in the tournament. It’s a great way to soak up the
atmosphere, connect with fellow attendees, and take part in the camaraderie and
networking that make the day so special.
This registration includes lunch only. Once the lunch details are confirmed, we will be
sure to share them with everyone.
Guess what?
Video coverage
A video crew from Viva Productions will be on site this year capturing footage during
registration, lunch, and out on the course. Golfers are encouraged to wear their
organization’s swag for a chance to be featured in the final video.
