Event details

This talk will introduce the principles of how fish population's function and how we measure them to inform our management decisions. It will use real world examples for Northwest WI that are applicable to fish populations globally.  Colin will discuss the human-fish relationship, population theory using walleye as a model species, WI DNR data collection, real world complexity impacting fish population (climate change, angler technology, habitat changes), stocking, regulations, and habitat restoration.
